How to update the Yugabyte DB Version after upgrade

Yugabyte DB Version still remains 2.2 not YugabyteDB Version 2.3.3.0 how to upgrade the database?
you have to start from the beginning and restore the application databases?
Is there a tool to convert the base like for postgres

i need your knowledge for how we can do to update db yugabyte version without stopping anything.
I looked on the www but I found nothing convincing

The steps in Upgrade a deployment | YugabyteDB Docs are pretty clear I think.
Did you follow them all ?

sorry I rebooted the servers everything works fine now the db version is in 2.3.3.0.
before posting I did several tests stopping processes on all the servers I was still in 2.2.0.0. I must have made a mistake somewhere
